Biography:
Galen was born and raised in the MS Delta. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Delta State University in 2018 and began her career in the state’s only Level IV NICU at The University of Mississippi Batson Children’s Hospital. Galen has 6 years of pediatric nursing experience ranging from Private Duty Nursing, Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care, PICU, Complex care, Hematology/Oncology, Med Surg, Cardiology, and Neurology.
She lives in Southaven, MS with her fiancé Nick. They have 2 dogs named Camden and Amelia and in her free time she likes to go back home to the Delta to see her niece and nephew. Galen’s favorite sports team is the Ole Miss Rebels and she’s excited to to serve the pediatric population of Desoto County!
